The Community Mosaic Street Painting Festival is one for the books and not to miss, as it's the longest-running chalk art festival on Long Island. Participate in the festivities by chalking up your own square—head to the East End Arts registration table near the stage to get all the materials you need. Enjoy hand-crafted artisan vendors, food trucks, and various kids' activities. Don't forget to visit the Stay Salted booth for face paint, henna, glitter tattoos, and fairy hair to add to the fun.
